Can’t get into miner configuration page
Possible causes and solutions:
- Mining software problem -> Reset. Instructions for resetting: https://www.eastshore.xyz/how-to-reset-antminer/
- Incompatible Internet browser -> Change a browser
- IP address problem (one is static and another is dynamic) -> Set both as static. Instructions for finding the IP: https://www.eastshore.xyz/how-to-scan-out-the-configuration-ip-address-of-the-miner/
- MAC repeated (applicable for T9+、S9i) -> update firmware: https://www.eastshore.xyz/how-to-upgrade-the-firmware-for-a-bitcoin-miner/
- Problem due to that miners moved to new location
- Set the network of the new location as that of the old location
- Restore to factory settings.
- Restart the miners
- Control board problem -> Request warranty repair
IP address missing
Possible causes and solutions:

- Router problem (DHCP is not activated) -> Activate DHCP mode of the router
- Ethernet cord problem -> Change an Ethernet cord
- Couldn’t find the IP -> Instructions for finding the IP: https://www.eastshore.xyz/how-to-scan-out-the-configuration-ip-address-of-the-miner/
- Control board problem -> Request warranty repair
Fan undetected
Possible causes and solutions:
- The fan is not properly connected -> Reconnect the fan
- Fan port on the control board damaged -> Request warranty repair
- Fan damaged -> Change the fan or request warranty repair
Hash boards undetected
Possible causes and solutions:
- Cable connection issue -> Power off the miner and reconnect the cable or change the cable.
- Port damaged -> Request warranty repair
- Control board problem -> Request warranty repair
Hash speed undetected
Possible causes and solutions:
- Pool issue -> Change to another pool
- Fan issue -> Change the fan
- Hash board damage -> Request warranty repair
- Control board issue -> Request warranty repair
- Network problem -> Check the network
Indicator lights for Internet port not working
Possible causes and solutions:
- Ethernet cord issue -> Plug the Ethernet cord properly
- Control board issue -> Request warranty repair
- Switch issue -> Check the switch
Spin speed of fans is too low (the speed difference of the 2 fans should be below 3000)
Possible causes and solutions:
- Change the fan, if it doesn’t help, request warranty repair.
Kernel log page shows fan issue
Go to Kernel log page, search “error”, if it shows: Fatal Error: some Fan lost or Fan speed low.
Possible causes and solutions:
- Fan not connected properly -> Reconnect the fan
- Fan port on the control board damaged -> Request warranty repair
- Fan damaged -> Request warranty repair
Third fan detected
Possible causes and solutions:
- Replace the two fans one by one, see it goes away.
- If both fans changed yet problem persist, request warranty repair.
Fan spin speed exceeds 7000
Possible causes and solutions:
- Replace the two fans one by one, see it goes away.
- If both fans changed yet problem persist, request warranty repair.
